<br />Council Minutes of 5/6/2008 <br />of city response costs incurred as the result of the multiple recurrence of such nuisance activities <br />on residential property located in the City of North Olmsted and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2008-63 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor .O'Grady. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids far the award of a <br />contract to provide new pavement markings to various streets at various locations in the city, as <br />detailed in the specifications on file in the Engineering Department, and authorizing the Mayor, <br />following approval of the Board of Control, if necessary, to contract for the same with the lowest <br />and best bidder, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2008-64 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the purchase of <br />5,000 tons of stone for various Service Department needs throughout the city as detailed in the <br />specifications on file, further authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with the lowest and <br />best bidder to purchase said stone, after Board of Control approval, and declaring an emergency. <br />Council Member Dailey Jones moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and <br />committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. <br />Council Member Dailey Jones moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Kearney and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2008-64 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2008-65 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the purchase of <br />5,000 tons of asphalt, tack coating and related items for various Service Department needs <br />throughout the city as detailed in the specifications on file, further authorizing the Mayor to enter <br />into a contract with the lowest and best bidder to purchase said asphalt, tack coating and related <br />items, after Board of Control approval, and declaring an emergency. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for cracksealing on <br />various streets in the City of North Olmsted, as per specifications on file in his office, and <br />authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract for same. <br />Ordinance No. 2008-67 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. An <br />ordinance repealing Ordinance No. 2003-25, codified at Sections 139.12 and 141.08 of the North <br />Olmsted Codified Ordinances, which requires the Directors of Public Safety and Public Service <br />to attend all regular meetings of the City Council. <br />Ordinance No. 2008-68 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. An <br />ordinance repealing Section 141.09 of the North Olmsted Codified Ordinances, which <br />established an administrative motor vehicle pool to determine and allocate the use of city <br />vehicles assigned to the Mayor and the Directors. <br />Ordinance No. 2008-69 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman Mahoney. An <br />ordinance providing for the submission to the electors of the City of North Olmsted of an <br />amendment to Article VI, Section 3 of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted to provide for <br />15 <br /> <br />
