Council Minutes of 2/19/2008 <br />Rec Commission meeting and it is a continuation of the relationship between Hot Stove <br />and the city. The Hot Stove League wants to move on this as quickly as possible so that <br />the work can begin as soon as the weather breaks. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Gareau and passed unanimously. Councilman Mahoney moved for <br />adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Gareau and passed unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 2008-31 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2008-32 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />A resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a renewed agreement with Cuyahoga <br />County Juvenile Court in connection with the Community Diversion Program which <br />addresses juvenile misdemeanor and status offenders in the City of North Olmsted, and <br />declaring an emergency. Councilman Gareau moved for suspension of the rules <br />requiring three readings and committee review noting this is a program we have had for a <br />number of years, and it's necessary to enter into a new contract agreement to keep it <br />running. It serves as the juvenile diversion program, an important program in the City of <br />North Olmsted which has been very successful. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Councilman Gareau moved for adoption. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Resolution <br />No. 2008-32 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2008-34 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the <br />City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2008. <br />Resolution No. 2008-35 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />A resolution authorizing the Mayor to accept a donation of skate board half pipe ramps <br />consisting of four (4) quarter pipes on each side from Ted Vovos for use at the North <br />Olmsted Skate Park only. <br />Ordinance No. 2008-36 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance providing for the amendment of the Zone Map of the City of North <br />Olmsted by rezoning the rear (north) portion of Permanent Parcel No. 233-11-012, <br />located at 29690 Lorain Road, known and used as Patton's Towing, from B Residence <br />Single Family to General Retail Business. <br />Ordinance No. 2008-37 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance providing for the amendment of the Zone Map of the City of North <br />Olmsted in order to supplementally zone Permanent Parcel Number 233-11-012 so as to <br />include it within the Wireless Telecommunication Facilities Overlay ("WTFO") District, <br />Chapter 1151, of the City of North Olmsted. <br />Resolution No. 2008-38 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />A resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with Senior Transportation <br />Connection (STC) for the provision of motor fuels used in the operation of transit bus <br />services. <br />12 <br />
