<br />Council Minutes of 2/5/2008 <br />,'~`,~ <br />;:r <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Councilman Ryan requested, when committee reports are being given and a dissenting <br />vote is announced, that the name of the person dissenting be given for the record. <br />Councilman Gareau asked to amend his Finance Committee report since there were <br />dissenting votes. The vote on Ordinances 2008-13, 2408-14, and 2008-15 was 2-1 with <br />Councilmen Kearney and Barker approving and Councilman Gareau casting the <br />dissenting vote. <br />Law Director Dubelko noted the committee chairs can report how they want to, but what <br />is critical are the minutes of the committee meetings on the new forms where information <br />on the votes should be included. <br />Council Member Jones scheduled a Streets & Transportation Committee meeting for <br />Tuesday, February 12, at 7 p.m. to discuss Ordinance 2008-20 and Resolution 2008-27. <br />The Service Director, the Law Director, and the City Engineer are asked to attend. <br />Councilman Mahoney scheduled a Recreation, Public Parks & Buildings Committee <br />meeting for 7:30 p.m. on February 12, to discuss Resolution 2008-21. The Planning <br />Director and the Mayor are asked to attend. <br />Councilman Kearney scheduled a Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee meeting <br />for 8 p.m. on February 12 to discuss Ordinance 2008-19. The Animal Warden and the <br />Law Director are asked to attend. <br />Councilman Ryan scheduled an Intra-Governmental Relations Committee meeting for <br />8:30 p.m. on February 12 to discuss Resolution 2008-23. He encouraged representatives <br />from the Irish community to attend and asked that the Mayor attend. <br />Councilman Barker noted that Ordinances 2008-17 and 2008-18 are moving on to the <br />Planning & Design Commission. <br />Councilman Gareau announced an Ethics Commission meeting was scheduled for 4:30 <br />p.m. on Friday afternoon. The proceedings are not public, but the fact that it is taking <br />place is public and it will be noticed in the usual manner. <br />With the agenda being complete and there being no further business to come before <br />Council, President Kennel adj urned the Council meeting at 9:32 p.m. <br />L.
