Special Council Minutes of 1/29/2008 <br /> <br />the surface and surfacing and resurfacing, in each case together with the necessary <br />appurtenances and work incidental thereto, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2008-14 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $100,000 of notes, in anticipation of <br />the issuance of bonds, for the purpose of acquiring and installing telecommunications <br />equipment and related software and appurtenances, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Gareau noted that he was in possession of the Fiscal Officer's Certificate for <br />Ordinance Nos. 2008-13, 2008-14 and 2008-15. <br />Ordinance No. 2008-15 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $1,000,000 of notes, in anticipation <br />of the issuance of bonds, for the purpose of improving certain designated streets in the <br />city by preparing the surface and resurfacing with asphaltic concrete, together with the <br />necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto. <br />Councilman Kearney made a motion to excuse the absence of Councilman Ryan. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilman Orlowski and passed unanimously. <br />With the agenda being complete, President Kennedy adjourned the special City Council <br />meeting at 8:20 p.m. <br />`~ J <br />(.u,~...GL.~-r2 <br />L.
