Council Minutes of 1/15/2008 <br />Resolution No. 2008-10 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Planning to proceed with negotiations for the <br />sale of city-owned real property in the North Olmsted Industrial Park, identified as <br />Permanent Parcel Numbers 234-11-139 and 234-11-141, and further authorizing the <br />Mayor to enter into a contract to sell the real property, and declaring an emergency. <br />MISCELLANEQUS BUSINESS <br />Councilman Kearney scheduled a Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee meeting <br />for 6:50 p.m. on Tuesday, January 22, 2008, to discuss a liquor permit transfer. <br />Councilman Mahoney scheduled a Recreation, Public Parks & Buildings Committee <br />meeting for 7 p.m. on Tuesday, January 22, 2008, to discuss Ordinance 2008-8. The <br />Community Life Services Director and Recreation Commissioner are asked to attend. <br />Councilman Gareau scheduled a Finance committee meeting for 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, <br />January 22, 2008, to discuss Resolutions 2008-7, 2008-10, 2007-156, 2007-157 and <br />Ordinance 2008-9. The Finance Director, Service Director and Planning Director are <br />asked to attend. <br />Council Member Dailey Jones scheduled a Streets & Transportation Committee meeting <br />for 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday, January 29, 2008, to discuss Resolution 2008-3, the 2007 <br />streets survey and an update on the Stearns Road construction. The Law Director, <br />Service Director and City Engineer are asked to attend. <br />President Kennedy announced a special Council meeting for Tuesday, January 29, 2008, <br />at 7:30 p.m. On the agenda will be Resolutions 2008-8, 2007-156, 2007-157 and <br />borrowing legislation for 2008. <br />Councilman Gareau announced that, at the next Council meeting, he would make a <br />motion to remove Walters Advanced Dentistry from committee. <br />President Kennedy announced a public hearing regarding Ordinance 2008-6 for 7 p.m. <br />on Tuesday, February 19, 2008. <br />Councilman Barker moved to excuse the absence of Councilman Ryan. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. <br />With the agenda being completed and there being no further business to come before <br />Council, President Kennedy adjourned the meeting at 9:05 p.m. <br />f <br />L.
