~~, <br />Council Minutes of 11-04-2009 <br /> <br />Ordinance 2009-130 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman Gareau. <br />An Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into contracts for the deposit of public <br />monies with the institutions designated by Council as depositories for the active and <br />interim account of the city, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2009-131 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with University Hospitals of <br />Cleveland that will provide for the North Olmsted Police Department to participate in the <br />Ohio Department of Public Safety "Click it or Ticket" and "Over the Limit Under Arrest" <br />Overtime Project, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Mahoney made a motion to <br />suspend the rule requiring three readings for the reason stated by the Safety Director, and <br />that would be primarily the timeliness of the Resolution. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Councilman Mahoney moved for <br />adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. <br />Resolution 2009-131 adopted. <br />Resolution 2009-132 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with University Hospitals of <br />Cleveland that will provide for the North Olmsted Police Department to participate in the <br />Cuyahoga County High Visibility Enforcement Project, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Mahoney moved to suspend the rule requiring three readings noting that the <br />request is per the Police Chief to allow the department to immediately participate in this <br />program. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. <br />Councilman Mahoney moved far adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Kearney and passed unanimously. Resolution 2009-132 adopted. <br />Resolution 2009-133 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with the Cuyahoga County <br />Board of Health to provide public health services for the year 2010. Councilman <br />Mahoney moved to suspend the rule requiring three readings at the request of the Mayor. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. ,Councilman <br />Mahoney moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and <br />passed unanimously. Resolution 2009-133 adopted. <br />Resolution 2009-134 was introduced on behalf of the Mayor and placed on first reading <br />by Councilman Barker. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor, on behalf of the city, to <br />enter into arevenue-generating contract with the Coca-Cola Bottling Company to provide <br />for beverage vending services at all city of North Olmsted facilities, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Councilman Barker scheduled a BZD meeting for 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 10, <br />2009 to discuss Sovereign Grace Church and Ganley Subaru.
