Special Council Minutes of 2/19/2009 <br />Gareau moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and <br />passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2009-18 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2009-19 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $900,000 of notes, in anticipation of the <br />issuance of bonds, for the purpose of improving Clague Road and certain other <br />designated streets in the city by preparing the surface and resurfacing with asphaltic <br />concrete, together with the necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto, and <br />declaring an emergency. Councilman Barker moved for adoption. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Gareau and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2009-19 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2009-20 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $1,010,000 of notes, in anticipation of <br />the issuance of bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of improving Dover Center Road and <br />certain other designated streets in the city, in cooperation with Cuyahoga County and <br />otherwise, by constructing, reconstructing and rehabilitating the pavement base, storm <br />sewers, storm water drainage structures, curbs, curb ramps and sidewalks, where <br />necessary, preparing the surface and resurfacing, in each case together with the necessary <br />appurtenances and work incidental thereto. Councilman Gareau moved for adoption. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Ordinance <br />No. 2009-20 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2009-21 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $160,000 of notes in anticipation of the <br />issuance of bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of acquiring and installing computer <br />hardware and software, together with necessary appurtenances and work incidental <br />thereto. Councilman Kearney moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Council Member Jones and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2009-21 adopted. <br />Councilman Kearney made a motion to excuse the absence of Councilman Mahoney. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. <br />With the agenda being completed, President Kennedy adjourned the special Council <br />meeting at 6:42 p.m. <br />I Barbara L.
