A <br />resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with Cintas Corporation to <br />provide uniform rental services to the city's Wastewater Treatment employees, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2009-4 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. A <br />resolution creating a new Citizens' Committee for the purpose of gathering and <br />presenting to City Council projects for consideration for the city's Community <br />Development Block Grant (CDBG) applications for fiscal years 2010 through 2012. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Council Member Dailey Jones scheduled a Streets & Transportation Committee meeting <br />for 6:50 p.m. on Tuesday, January 13, to discuss Resolution No. 2009-2. The Service <br />Director was asked to attend. <br />Councilman Kearney scheduled a Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee meeting <br />for 7 p.m. on Tuesday, January 13, to discuss a liquor permit, and asked the Police Chief, <br />Fire Chief, and Safety Director to be present to give their plan on how the workload will <br />be distributed with the layoffs and how it affects the safety of the city. <br />Councilman Gareau scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, <br />January 13, to discuss Resolution 2009-3.
