WILAMOSKY <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 911.03 <br />OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ENTITLED <br />"CHARGES GENERALLY" WHICH IS A PART <br />OF CHAPTER 911 ENTITLED "SANITARY <br />SEWERAGE SYSTEM CHARGES", AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That Section 911.03 entitled "Charges Generally" <br />of Chapter 911 entitled "Sanitary Sewerage System Charges" of the <br />Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, which now reads <br />as follows: <br />"911.03 CHARGES GENERALLY <br />For the purposes provided in Section 911.02 there is hereby <br />levied and charged upon each lot, parcel of land or premises having <br />or required to have a connection with the system, or otherwise <br />discharging sewage, industrial wastes, water or other liquids, <br />either directly or indirectly into the system, sewer charges payable <br />as hereinafter provided and in amounts to be determined as follows: <br />(a) For premises supplied by metered public water supply, <br />the following rates shall apply to be computed on <br />the basis of water consumption as measured by such water <br />meter, to-wit: <br />(1) From August 1, 1971 to January 31, 1976, $6.95 <br />for the first 1,000 cubic feet or any portion <br />thereof of water consumed per quarter, and at the <br />rate of $6.95 per 1,000 cubic feet of water <br />consumed thereafter, but not less than $6.95 <br />per quarter. <br />(2) From February 1, 1976 to April 1, <br />for the first 1,000 cubic feet or <br />thereof of water consumed per qua <br />the rate of $7.45 per 1,000 cubic <br />consumed thereafter, but not less <br />quarter. <br />1977, $7.45 <br />any portion <br />rter, and at <br />feet of water <br />than $7.45 per <br />(3) From and after April 1, 1977, $11.92 for the first <br />1,000 cubic feet or any portion thereof of water <br />consumed per quarter, and at the rate of $11.92 <br />per 1,000 cubic feet of water consumed thereafter, <br />but not less than $11.92 per quarter. <br />The rate established in (a)(2) hereof shall continue in effect <br />and the rate established in (a) (3) hereof shall not go into effect. <br />as specified provided that a Charter Amendment, which is presently <br />scheduled to be voted upon in a special election on March 22, 1977, <br />is adopted. Said Charter Amendment, if adopted, would provide a <br />method of financing the debt services for the sewer treatment <br />facilities up to a meximum of three mills. <br />
