OF NOR'~_ OLMSTE~ <br />i~i{i7iNANCE N0. 80-147 <br />PAGE 2, <br />If the voters of the City of North Olmsted fail to approve <br />said Charter Amendment, then the rate established in (a)(3) shall <br />be $11.92 for the first 1,000 cubic feet, or any portion thereof, <br />of water consumed per quarter and become effective from and after <br />April 1, 1977. <br />In addition to the rates established by this section, there <br />shall be an additional charge of ninety cents ($.90) per quarter <br />which is designed to cover costs incurred by the City for the <br />issuance of quarterly billing statements. <br />(b) For premises supplied other than by metered public water <br />supply, there shall be charged the following flat monthly <br />rates: <br />(1) From February 1, 1975 to January 31, 1977, $9.08 <br />per month provided that for prompt payment of <br />such billing, by the City of North Olmsted, such <br />rate shall be reduced to $8.95 per month. <br />(2) From and after February 1, 1977, $14.53 per month <br />provided that for prompt payment of such billing, <br />by reduced to $14.32 per month. <br />(c) The rates to be charged to users whose premises are <br />located outside the City limits, other than political <br />subdivisions having special service contracts with the <br />City of North Olmsted, shall be negotiated by the Mayor <br />and/or the Director of Public Service and approved by <br />Council. Any such user shall first obtain the approval of <br />the Director of Public Service before making connections <br />to the system and conform to such requirements as may <br />be prescribed in the regulations prescribed by such <br />Director. <br />(d) In the event it can be shown to the satisfaction of the <br />Director of Public Service, with respect to any premises, <br />that a portion of the water derived from metered public <br />water supply consumed on such premises does not and <br />cannot enter the system, then in each such case the owner <br />or other or other interested party may, at his expense, <br />install such metering devices as to demonstrate to the <br />satisfaction of such Director the portion of the water <br />so supplied and consumed on the premises determining the <br />sewer charge under subsection (a) hereof. <br />(e) No free service of any kind shall be rendered to any user <br />unless it shall be brought to the attention of Council <br />or the Finance Director that the City of Cleveland Water <br />Department has had an adjustment in the water charge to <br />a consumer, at which time the Finance Director is hereby <br />authorized to make an adjustment in the sewer revenue <br />charge not to exceed One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) per <br />premises served by the North Olmsted Sanitary Sewer System." <br />be and the same is hereby amended and as amended shall read as follows: <br />" 911.03 CHARGES GENERALLY <br />For the purposes provided in Section 911.02 there is hereby <br />levied and charged upon each lot, parcel of land or premises having <br />or required to have a connection with the system, or otherwise <br />discharging sewage, industrial wastes, water or other liquids, either <br />directly or indirectly into the system, sewer charges payable as <br />hereinafter provided and in amounts to be determined as follows: <br />
