MAYOR SWIETYNIOWSKI <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE ORGANIZATIONAL <br />CHART AND COMPOSITION OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />AS WELL AS SALARIES AND VARIOUS BENEFITS FOR <br />THE EMPLOYEES OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT, AND <br />ADOPTING VARIOUS RULES AND REGULATIONS, AND <br />ESTABLISHING EMPLOYEE RIGHTS, AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLT~STED, <br />COUNTY OF CtJYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Organizational Chart of the Fire Department <br />of the Ci--t o -North Olmsted, Chapter 141, Section 141.02, entitled <br />"Composition and Classification" of the North Olmsted Codified <br />Ordinances shall read as follows: <br />A. That the Organizational Chart for the Fire Department and <br />the personnel set forth in the Organizational Chart shall consist of <br />the Chief of Fire who shall be in charge of the entire Fire Department. <br />B. The Fire Chief shall also be in charge of the General Duty <br />Uniform Roster, which shall consist of: Four (4) Captains; Six (6) <br />Lieutenants; .Twenty-seven Firemen for the year 1980; and Twenty-eight <br />(28) Firemen for the year 1981 and thereafter. <br />C. The Fire Department as constituted herein shall be classified <br />by the Director of Safety, as rec{uired by law. <br />SECTION Z: That Council does hereby establish salaries for the <br />various members of the Fire Department covering the years of 1980, and <br />1981, and the same shall be as follows effective January 1, 1980: <br />Effective Janua <br />A. Fire Chief <br />Captains <br />Fire Lieutenants <br />Fireman after Second Year <br />Fireman - Second Year <br />Fireman - First Year <br />Fu11-Time Fireman working for <br />City during off-duty hours: <br />1. 1980 <br />$29,040.00 <br />23,363.00 <br />21,239.00 <br />19,308.00 <br />17,663.00 <br />15,011.00 <br />the <br />$4.25/hr. to $6 <br />Annually <br />Annually <br />Annually <br />Annually <br />Annually <br />Annually <br />.25/hr. <br />which salaries shall be payable by the Director of Finance bi-weekly. <br />B. That effective January 1, 1981, and thereafter, the base <br />salaries of the members of the Fire Department are hereby fixed and <br />determined to be as follows: <br />
