Project Number <br />THIS AGREEMENT made this day of in <br />the year Nineteen Hundred and Eighty (1980), by and between: <br />The City of North Olmsted <br />5206 Dover Center Road <br />North Olmsted, Ohio 44070 <br />(hereinafter referred to as "City") <br />and <br />Dalton•Dalton•Newport Inc <br />3605 Warrensville Center Road <br />Cleveland, Ohio 44122 <br />(hereinafter referred to as "Dalton") <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City to retain a consulting <br />engineer to design the modification to the City wastewater <br />treatment plant under regulation of U.S. Public Law 92-500 <br />as amended and generally as described in the North Olmsted <br />Facility Plan,-May, 1980 (hereinafter referred to as "Project"); <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City and Dalton agree as set forth as <br />follows: <br />ARTICLE 1, <br />DALTON'S SERVICES <br />After the grant offer has been made and upon authorization <br />by the City, Dalton shall furnish professional consulting <br />engineering services for the design of wastewater improve- <br />ments as. set forth in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and made <br />a part hereof . <br />Dalton shall perform the following engineering design Basic <br />Services in Paragraphs 1.1 through 1.6: <br />1.1 ~ ~ ~ Pilot Treatability Study <br />1.1.1 Furnish continuous process pilot microscreen <br />equipment with a minimum capacity of 50,000 gallons per day <br />and install at the Vernon, Connecticut powdered activated <br />carbon wastewater treatment plant; this is contingent upon <br />receiving approval of Vernon, Connecticut to do this work. <br />The facilities may be installed at .the Liverpool, Ohio, <br />Medina County 500 powdered carbon wastewater treatment plant <br />if said facilities are operational on or before November 1, <br />1980. <br />DHS:lss 08/08/80 <br />3501000 <br />
