<br /><n <br />M ` <br />w~:w <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 80-71 <br />By; MAYOR SWIETYNIOWSKI <br />yegvS`.s..: <br />~~~ <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE ORGANIZATIONAL <br />CHART AND COMPOSITION OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT; <br />AS WELL AS SALARIES AND VARIOUS BENEFITS FOR <br />THE EMPLOYEES OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT, AND <br />ADOPTING VARIOUS RULES AND REGULATIONS, AND <br />ESTABLISHING EMPLOYEE RIGHTS AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY, AS AMENDED. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Organizational Chart of the Fire Department of <br />the City of North Olmsted, Chapter 141, Section 141.02, `'Composition and <br />Classification" of the North Olmsted Codified Ordinances shall read as <br />follows: <br />A. That the Organizational Chart for the Fire Department and the <br />personnel set forth in the Organizational Chart shall consist of the <br />Chief of Fire who shall be in charge of the entire Fire Department. <br />B. The Fire Chief shall also be in charge of the General Duty Uni- <br />form Roster, which shall consist of: One (1) Assistant Fire Chief; Four (4) <br />Captains; Six (6) Lieutenants; and Twenty-Seven (27) Firemen. <br />C. The Fire Department as constituted herein shall be classified by <br />the Director of Safety, as required by law. <br />SECTION 2: That Council does hereby establish salaries for the <br />various mem ers of the Fire Department covering the years of the 1980 <br />and 1981, and the same shall be as follows effective January 1, 1980: <br />Effective 1-1-80 <br />A. Fire Chief <br />Assistant Fire Chief <br />Captains <br />Fire Lieutenants <br />Firemen After Second Year <br />Firemen Second Year <br />Firemen First Year <br />Full-Time Firemen working for the City <br />of North Olmsted during off-duty hours <br />$29,Q40.00 Annually <br />$25,699.00 Annually <br />$23,363.00 Annually <br />$21,239.00 Annually <br />$19,308.00 Annually <br />$17,663.00 Annually <br />$15,011.00 Annually <br />$4.25 Per Hour to $6.25 Per Hour <br />which salaries shall be payable by the Director of Finance bi-weekly. <br />B. That effective January 1, 1981, and thereafter, the base salaries <br />of the members of the Fire Department are hereby fixed and determined to be <br />as follows: <br />
