Any sworn full-time employee shall, while on duty as a certified <br />Paramedic, be paid additional compensation at the rate of $400.00 annually <br />for all time spent as Fireman/Paramedic. Only those employees employed as <br />of August 1,1980,sha11 qualify for Paramedic Pay and includes those employees <br />currently or expected to be in training. Each employee in training shall <br />receive Paramedic pay prorated on the basis of 1/12 of $400.00 for the full <br />months of service as a certified Paramedic. <br />other than tie Chief o A sist nt Chief, <br />D. One (1) of the above officers,/shall be assigned to tie ire preven- <br />tion Bureau as Fire Prevention Officer/Inspector and shall be paid additional <br />compensation at the rate of $450.00 annually for all time spent while assigned <br />to the Fire Prevention Bureau. <br />E. That excluding secretarial and clerical employees, that all full- <br />time employees of the Fire Department having completed five (5) years of <br />full-time continuous service, with the City, shall be paid an additional <br />four percent (40) of their base annual salary, thereafter until completion <br />of the tenth (10th) year of continuous full-time service, after which such <br />employee shall receive five percent (5%) of their base annual salary, there- <br />after until the completion of the fifteenth (15th) year of continuous full- <br />time service, and thereafter six percent (60) of their base annual salary <br />until the completion of the twentieth (20th) year of continuous full-time <br />service, and dux•ing each year of full-time service thereafter they shall <br />receive seven percent (70) of their base annual salary as longevity increments. <br />F. In computing length of service for the purpose of making payments <br />of longevity increments hereinabove set forth, no credit shall be given for <br />part-time service, but such limitation is only for the purpose of computing <br />longevity increments and the exclusion for part-time service shall not de- <br />prive any employee of any other benefits which may be due for part-time <br />service as employees in the Safety Department. <br />G. In addition to the regular base salary plus increments and other <br />wage increase, all regular employees of the Fire Department, including of- <br />ficers, shall on their original appointment and during the first calendar <br />year of their appointment receive Three Hundred Twenty-Five Dollars ($325.00) <br />clothing allowance, and shall during each calendar year thereafter receive a <br />clothing allowance of Three Hundred Fifty Dollars ($350.00). Said allowance <br />shall be controlled by the Chief, however, any employee may purchase regula- <br />tion clothing and be reimbursed upon presentation of a satisfactory receipt. <br />H. That all full-time employees of the North Olmsted Fire Department, <br />excluding secretarial and clerical help, shall be entitled to certain holi- <br />days during the year and shall not be required to work on these holidays, <br />unless scheduled to work by the Fire Chief. In the event the employee <br />either works or was not scheduled to work for reasons other than holiday <br />leave on one of the following holidays, then the employee shall receive <br />another day off from work to replace the holiday he worked, or was not re- <br />quired to work for reasons other than holiday leave. The scheduled holi- <br />days are as follows: New Year's Day; President's Day; Memorial Day; Inde- <br />pendence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Day; Veteran's Day; <br />the employee's birthday; and the employee's personal use day. <br />I. That all full-time employees of the Fire Department shall be en- <br />titled to an annual vacation in accordance with the following schedule: <br />
