PETRIGAC <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED TO ENTER INTO AN <br />AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF FAIRVIEW PARK <br />WHEREIN THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED IS TO SERVE <br />AS LEAD AGENCY IN AN APPLICATION FOR A GRANT <br />AMENDMENT TO PERFORM A SEWER SYSTEM EVALUATION <br />SURVEY AND TO PERFORM OTHER NECESSARY MATTERS <br />FOR A FEDERAL GRANT UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE <br />CLEAN WATER ACT AMENDMENTS OF 1977, IN CONNECTION <br />WITH IMPROVEMENTS AND ADDITIONS TO THE WASTEWATER <br />TREATMENT AND SANITARY SEWERAGE FACILITTES OF <br />OLMSTED TOWNSHIP, AS PART OF THE AREA KNOWN AS <br />THE NORTH OLMSTED FACILITY PLAN. <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted has completed a Step 1 <br />Facility Plan for wastewater collection and treatment in the North <br />Olmsted Facility Planning Area, and <br />WHEREAS, sections of incorporated areas in the City of <br />Fairview Park which are tributary to and served by the municipal <br />sewer systems in the City of North Olmsted were determined to be <br />subject to possible excessive infiltration and inflow according to <br />the cost-effectiveness analysis presented in the Facility Plan, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted is being considered as <br />a single entity for the purpose of Federal funding in connection <br />with a sewer system evaluation survey to identify sources of <br />excessive infiltration and inflow. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Mayor be and he is hereby directed to <br />enter into an agreement with the City of Fairview Park to apply <br />for a grant amendment application for Federal funds to assist <br />in performing a sewer system evaluation survey. <br />SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be <br />in force from an after the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: / /9 <br />ATTEST : ~-~ <br />First reading: 6 d <br />Second reading: <br />Third reading: <br />D W LIMPERT, P SIDENT OF <br />COU <br />F ORENCE CAMPBELL, CLE OF C UNCIL <br />
