j _.. <br />DRAFT AGREEMENT <br />~""° ITEM F <br />THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />AND <br />THE BOARD OF CUYAHOGA COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />THIS AGREEMENT made and entered into this day <br />of , 1980, by and between the City of North <br />Olmsted a municipal corporation organized and existing under <br />the Constitution and Laws of the State of Ohio, and the Board <br />of Cuyahoga County Commissioners, duly authorized by the <br />following ordinances passed by their respective council and <br />board members: <br />North Olmsted - Ordinance No. <br />day of 1980. <br />Cuyahoga County - Resolution No. <br />day of , 1980. <br />on the <br />on the <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted and Cuyahoga <br />County each own sanitary sewer systems and storm drainage sys- <br />tems; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted has completed a <br />Step 1 Facility Plan for wastewater collection and treatment <br />in the North Olmsted Facility Planning Area, and <br />WHEREAS, it was determined that the collection system <br />was subject to possibly excessive infiltration and inflow accord- <br />ing to the cost-effectiveness analysis presented in the Facility <br />Plan, and <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council at North Olmsted desires <br />to obtain a Federal grant to'assist in performing a sewer system <br />evaluation survey to identify sources of excessive infiltration <br />and inflow. <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted proposes to incor- <br />porate these areas of Olmsted Township into the study area for a <br />sewer system evaluation survey to be carried out by the City of <br />North Olmsted's consulting engineer. <br />WHEREAS, a sewer system evaluation survey is a prere- <br />quisite established by USEPA regulations to obtaining Step 2 and <br />Step 3 grants; and, <br />WHEREAS, North Olmsted and the County plan to apply for <br />Step 2 and Step 3 grants for improvements to the wast~reatment <br />works (sewage treatment plant and tributary sewers in conformance <br />with the findings of the Facilities Plan); and, <br />-1- <br />
