-~ s <br />~M~,, <br />-2- <br />WHEREAS, it is of benefit to all parties that the <br />sewer system evaluation survey be conducted as a single effort. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises and <br />of 'the mutual covenants, hereinafter set forth, and of other <br />good and valuable considerations, the governmental agencies do <br />hereby promise and agree as follows: <br />SECTION 1: The Board of County Commissioners agrees <br />that the City of North Olmsted shall serve as lead agency in <br />applying for grant application for a sewer system evaluation <br />survey . <br />- SECTION 2: The City of North Olmsted promises and <br />agrees to perform a sewer system evaluation survey in that <br />portion of Olmsted Township which was identified as drainage <br />area NO-2b in Section 7.1 of the North Olmsted Facility Plan <br />Report, May, 1980. The length of sewer to be surveyed shall be <br />16,800 feet, or 16,800 356,000 = 4.7 percent of the total <br />length of sewer to be surveyed by the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 3: The County Sanitary Engineer shall have <br />the right of approval of all material developed for Olmsted <br />Township prior to its incorporation in the sewer system evalua- <br />tion survey report. The City of North Olmsted's Consultnat shall <br />obtain a letter of acceptance from the Cuyahoga County Sanitary <br />Engineer on the Olmsted Township portions of the plan described <br />above. <br />SECTION 4: For performing the sewer system evaluation <br />survey descri ed in Section 2, the Board of County_Commissioners <br />will pay to the City of North Olmsted an amount not to exceed <br />~'S, ova, a0 which is one-fourth of the estimated amount <br />for the Olmsted Township portion of the sewer system evaluation <br />survey, said estimated amount being ~'2b OOO,aO The City <br />of North Olmsted will be reimbursed or any or al of the <br />/S OOD, 00 difference from a U.S. EPA grant. The esti- <br />mated amount for the Olmste Township portion of the sewer <br />system evaluation survey has been determined on the proportionate <br />length of sewer to be surveyed which is in Olmsted Township (equal <br />to 4.7 percent) times the total cost of the survey. <br />SECTION 5: The Board of County Commissioners shall pay <br />to the City of North Olmsted the amount determined under Section <br />3 upon receipt of a statement from the City of North Olmsted on <br />a monthly basis. <br />SECTION 6: The City of North Olmsted shall make avail- <br />able for inspection by the Board of Cuyahoga County Commissioners <br />all records relating to the services for which there is cost <br />sharing. <br />
