<br />~ - <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 80- 51 <br />PAGE 4. <br />.~ <br />(6) The Commission shall inform the owner of <br />the site of the status of the nomination <br />after Planning Commission review. <br />(7) The Commission shall secure the owner's written <br />consent for: <br />(a) Submittal of the nomination to City <br />Council. <br />(b) Acceptance if designated a landmark. <br />(c) The placement of plaque if designated <br />a landmark. <br />(8) The Commission shall submit to City Council <br />the complete report including recommendation, <br />Planning Commission's statement and the owner's <br />consent. <br />(9) After review of the Landmarks Commission's <br />report, City Council may designate by ordinance <br />the nominated site as an official North Olmsted <br />landmark. If approved, the Landmark Commission <br />shall notify the City Building Department of <br />the official landmark. <br />(10) The Commission shall notify the owner by <br />certified mail of the official action designating <br />the landmark. <br />(11) The Landmark Commission shall present to the <br />owner, the official Landmark plaque. <br />(c) The Commission shall have the following rights and <br />responsibilities: <br />(1) The official Landmark plaque shall remain the <br />property of the City of North Olmsted. <br />(2) The owner of the landmarked site shall have <br />complete control of the property. <br />(3) City Council shall have the right to rescind <br />the designation of an official landmark by <br />ordinance upon written an_plication from the <br />owner of a landmark site or the Landmark <br />Commission. <br />(d) Upon the request of the owner of the landmark site <br />the Commission shall attempt to assist in providing <br />information for architectural changes that are in <br />keeping with the original intent of the Landmark <br />ordinance. <br />SECTION 2: That Chapter 165 of the Codified Ordinances. of <br />the City o Nf- ort~i Olmsted be and the same is hereby repealed, and <br />any other ordinances or resolutions or parts of ordinances: or <br />resolutions in conflict herewith, be and the same are hereby <br />repealed. <br />
