~ - CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE N0. 80- 51 PAGE 4. .~ (6) The Commission shall inform the owner of the site of the status of the nomination after Planning Commission review. (7) The Commission shall secure the owner's written consent for: (a) Submittal of the nomination to City Council. (b) Acceptance if designated a landmark. (c) The placement of plaque if designated a landmark. (8) The Commission shall submit to City Council the complete report including recommendation, Planning Commission's statement and the owner's consent. (9) After review of the Landmarks Commission's report, City Council may designate by ordinance the nominated site as an official North Olmsted landmark. If approved, the Landmark Commission shall notify the City Building Department of the official landmark. (10) The Commission shall notify the owner by certified mail of the official action designating the landmark. (11) The Landmark Commission shall present to the owner, the official Landmark plaque. (c) The Commission shall have the following rights and responsibilities: (1) The official Landmark plaque shall remain the property of the City of North Olmsted. (2) The owner of the landmarked site shall have complete control of the property. (3) City Council shall have the right to rescind the designation of an official landmark by ordinance upon written an_plication from the owner of a landmark site or the Landmark Commission. (d) Upon the request of the owner of the landmark site the Commission shall attempt to assist in providing information for architectural changes that are in keeping with the original intent of the Landmark ordinance. SECTION 2: That Chapter 165 of the Codified Ordinances. of the City o Nf- ort~i Olmsted be and the same is hereby repealed, and any other ordinances or resolutions or parts of ordinances: or resolutions in conflict herewith, be and the same are hereby repealed.
