<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 80- 48 <br />PAGE 2. <br /> <br />In the computation of weekly overtime, recognized <br />holidays shall be considered as time worked to the extent of the <br />normal regular hours called for, except where the holiday coincides <br />with the scheduled day off of the employee. <br />E. There is an established operator training program <br />which shall not exceed thrity (30) days and any operator who is <br />included within said training program shall be .paid eight (8) hours <br />per day at the then established federal minimum hourly wage rate. <br />Regular operators, who are assigned a training operator, <br />shall be paid an additional 40G per hour for the time spent with <br />the training operator. <br />SECTION 2: LonaevitY Benefits <br />That there is hereby established longevity benefits for <br />all full time employees; bus driver, administrative and maintenance, <br />which shall be as follows: <br />A. Administrative and Salaried Personnel <br />Effective August 1, 1976 through and including October <br />2, 1976, all full time employees of the North Olmsted Municipal <br />Bus Line having completed five (5) years of full time continuous <br />service as employees of said bus line or having been transferred <br />from some other department by administrative appointment shall be <br />paid an additional three percent (3i) of their base annual salary <br />until they have completed their tenth (10th) year of continuous <br />full time service. After completing their tenth (10th) year and <br />prior to completion of their fifteenth (15th) year of continuous <br />full time service, they shall be paid four percent (4i) of their <br />base annual salary. After completion of their fifteenth (15th) <br />year of continuous service and prior to completion of their twentieth <br />(20th) year of continuous service, they shall be paid five percent <br />(5i) of their base annual salary. After completion of their <br />twentieth (20th) year of continuous service they shall be paid six <br />percent (6i) of their base annual salary. These payments shall be <br />longevity increments and shall be paid and computed by the Finance <br />Department of the City of North Olmsted. <br />In computing length of service for the purpose of making <br />payments of longevity increments as hereinabove set forth, no credit <br />shall be given for part time service, but such limitation is only for <br />the purpose of computing longevity increments and the exclusion <br />for part time service shall not deprive any employee of any other <br />benefits which may be due them for part time service as employees <br />of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line. <br />B. Bus Drivers and Maintenance Employees <br />Effective October 3, 1976 and thereafter, the following <br />longevity benefits shall be paid to all full time employees, except <br />administrative personnel with the first of such payments to be made <br />in December, 1977, subject to the approval of the Regional Transit <br />Authority. <br />1. For all employees who have completed five (5) <br />years but less than ten (10) years of continuous <br />service before December 1st - $300 per year. <br />2. For all employees who have completed ten (10) <br />years but less than twenty (20) years of continuous <br />service before December 1st - $500 per year. <br />
