For all employees who have completed twenty (20) <br />years of continuous service or more before December <br />lst - $700 per year. <br />4. The provisions contained in Paragraphs 1, 2, and <br />3 of this Section shall, however, be subject to <br />the following provisions: <br />i. The longevity year shall be based upon December <br />lst to December lst, and in order to be eligible <br />for One Hundred Percent (1001) longevity payment <br />for any year, the employee must have worked or <br />been paid for at least Two Hundred Thirty-Eight <br />(238) days during the longevity year and also <br />be actively employed on December 1st of the <br />payment year. Furthermore, if the employee <br />works or is paid for less than Two Hundred Thirty <br />Eight (238) days in the calendar year and is <br />still actively employed on December 1st. of the <br />payment year, the longevity payment shall be <br />prorated as follows: <br />214-237 days 90% <br />190-213 days 80i <br />166-189 days 70i <br />142-165 days 600 <br />118-141 days 50i <br />117 days or less Oo <br />ii. However, any employee who retires and receives <br />a pension, or dies, prior to December lst of <br />the payment year shall still be eligible to <br />receive a longevity payment for that year based <br />upon the proration schedule set forth in Paragraph <br />4 above. <br />SECTION 3: Uniform Allowance <br />That there is hereby established a uniform allowance for <br />bus operators, maintenance and service employees which allowance <br />shall be hereinafter specified. <br />A. That full-time maintenance and service employees in <br />the garage of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line shall be permitted <br />a maximum of three (3) sets of laundered work clothing each week. <br />B. That there shall be allowed for each full-time bus <br />operator the sum of One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150) per year for <br />the acquisition of uniforms to be worn while operating a bus for <br />the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line. <br />Clothing allowance will not be issued to a new operator <br />until after thirty (30) full days of employment. <br />If within the probationary period of one (1) year, <br />an operator leaves the employ of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, <br />then he/she must reimburse the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line for <br />the amount of money spent from the clothing allowance. <br />SECTION 4: Paid Holidays <br />That all employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line <br />shall receive holiday pay for the following holidays: New Years Day, <br />Presidents Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, <br />December 24th, Christmas Day, and the Employees Birthday. <br />The observance of December 24th shall be mutually agreed <br />to by the employee and management so as not to interfere with the <br />normal scheduled operations of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line. <br />Circumstances may prevail in which management will designate the <br />date of observance of the December 24th paid holiday. <br />
