CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 80- 48 PAGE 4 The observance of Presidents Day shall occur on the employees employment anniversary date (full-time starting date), unless it interferes with the scheduled operations of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, whereby another date shall be chosen. If any employee is required to work on any of the following eight (8) holidays; New Years Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and the Employees Birthday, then the employee shall be paid time and one-half for such work in addition to the holiday pay. SECTION 5: Vacations That all full time employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line shall be entitled to an annual vacation which is based on the number of years of service in accordance with the following schedule. A. Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) year full time service. B. Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full time service. C. Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full time service. D. Five (5) weeks vacation after twenty (20) years full time service. Each week shall be considered five (5) work days for the purpose of determining vacation payment for a total of forty (40) hours. SECTION 6: Accident & Health Insurance All full time employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line shall be furnished at no cost to the employee, accident and health insurance. This insurance shall pay the sum of Forty ($40.00) per week, in the event the employee is unable to work as a result of an accident or ill health. Said insurance shall also have an accidental death benefit with the principal sum of One Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($1,500.00). SECTION 7: Hospitalization The City of North Olmsted shall pay the full amount for hospitalization with Blue Cross and Medical Mutual or the Kaiser Community Health Foundation Plan, provided that the full amount to be paid does not exceed the amount allowed by the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority to its employees under their then exist- ing program. SECTION 8: Dental As soon as can be implemented by Blue Shield, or by another insurance carrier, the City of North Olmsted shall pay the full cost for employee and family coverage (including the rider covering child- ren ages 19-23) of a Dental Plan providing twenty five dollars ($25.00) deductible per person per year, for all full time employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line.. SECTION 9: Prescription As soon as can be implemented the City of North Olmsted shall pay the full cost for employee and family coverage of a three dollar ($3.00) deductible prescription plan for all full time employees, except when such coverage is provided in a basic health care plan.
