CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 80- 48 <br />PAGE 4 <br /> <br />The observance of Presidents Day shall occur on the <br />employees employment anniversary date (full-time starting date), <br />unless it interferes with the scheduled operations of the North <br />Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, whereby another date shall be chosen. <br />If any employee is required to work on any of the <br />following eight (8) holidays; New Years Day, Presidents Day, <br />Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas <br />Day, and the Employees Birthday, then the employee shall be paid <br />time and one-half for such work in addition to the holiday pay. <br />SECTION 5: Vacations <br />That all full time employees of the North Olmsted Municipal <br />Bus Line shall be entitled to an annual vacation which is based on <br />the number of years of service in accordance with the following <br />schedule. <br />A. Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) year full time <br />service. <br />B. Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full <br />time service. <br />C. Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years <br />full time service. <br />D. Five (5) weeks vacation after twenty (20) years full <br />time service. <br />Each week shall be considered five (5) work days for the <br />purpose of determining vacation payment for a total of forty (40) hours. <br />SECTION 6: Accident & Health Insurance <br />All full time employees of the North Olmsted Municipal <br />Bus Line shall be furnished at no cost to the employee, accident <br />and health insurance. This insurance shall pay the sum of Forty <br />($40.00) per week, in the event the employee is unable to work as <br />a result of an accident or ill health. Said insurance shall also <br />have an accidental death benefit with the principal sum of One <br />Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($1,500.00). <br />SECTION 7: Hospitalization <br />The City of North Olmsted shall pay the full amount for <br />hospitalization with Blue Cross and Medical Mutual or the Kaiser <br />Community Health Foundation Plan, provided that the full amount to <br />be paid does not exceed the amount allowed by the Greater Cleveland <br />Regional Transit Authority to its employees under their then exist- <br />ing program. <br />SECTION 8: Dental <br />As soon as can be implemented by Blue Shield, or by another <br />insurance carrier, the City of North Olmsted shall pay the full cost <br />for employee and family coverage (including the rider covering child- <br />ren ages 19-23) of a Dental Plan providing twenty five dollars <br />($25.00) deductible per person per year, for all full time employees <br />of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line.. <br />SECTION 9: Prescription <br />As soon as can be implemented the City of North Olmsted <br />shall pay the full cost for employee and family coverage of a three <br />dollar ($3.00) deductible prescription plan for all full time <br />employees, except when such coverage is provided in a basic health <br />care plan. <br />
