Any employee who <br />qualifies for the benefits under this paragraph shall not have his ac- <br />culated sick time reduced because of a qualified accidental injury which <br />occurred while in the line of duty. <br />All full-time sworn Police Officers shall receive one eight (8) <br />hour day off with pay for each six (6) consecutive months of unused sick <br />time off. These off days shall be determined by the Chief of Police. <br />SECTION 3: That the employees <br />of North Olmsted be reimbursed, not <br />day, for per diem expenses while in <br />School established by the Cuyahoga <br />Reserve University, which school is <br />class attendance. <br />of the Police Department of the City <br />to exceed three dollars ($3.00) per <br />attendance at the Police Training <br />County Commissioners at Case Western <br />for a two-week period with ten days <br />SECTION 4: That the Rules and Regulations established by virtue of <br />the adoption of Ordinance No. 76-157 on November 3, 1976, and revised sec- <br />tions shall remain in full force and effect and said Rules and Regulations <br />shall be adopted with this Ordinance and the same are made a part hereof <br />by reference. <br />SECTION 5: Except as otherwise provided herein, all other Ordinances <br />or Resolutions, or parts of Ordinances or Resolutions, or parts of Ordinances <br />or Resolutions inconsistent therewith to the provisions of this Ordinance, <br />and especially Ordinance No. 78-82, are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION 6: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, <br />safety and welfare, and for the further reason that it is immediately nec- <br />essary for the continuity of services of the safety forces of the City, <br />and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: <br />b <br />FLORENCE E.
