,~. ^. <br />Resolution No. 2009-121 <br /> <br /> <br />SECTION 2: That this Council does, in accordance with the rules and requirements for <br />CDBG applications, and in order to satisfy any and all prerequisites to qualify the same, hereby <br />authorize and direct the Director of Planning to coordinate with the Directors of Public Services <br />and Community Life Services, as may be necessary, to develop the said project proposal so as to <br />meet and/or exceed the CDBG application standards, and for the latter Directors to provide any <br />and all necessary information and assistance to the Director of Planning in establishing, <br />documenting, and fulfilling the CDBG application specifications for the said project proposal. <br />SECTION 3: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety, and welfare, and for the <br />further reason it is necessary that this legislation go into effect immediately in order that the City <br />may make a timely application for Community Development Block Grant funds on or before <br />November 6, 2009, and further, provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members of the Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and <br />approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ~~,~ z~.D, I pig <br />ATTEST: <br />MARIE GALLO <br />Clerk of Council <br />APPROVED: ~%/~ <br />~~d . <br />MAYOR THO1l24S E.
