7.07 Any employee who is assigned to the S.W.A.T. and/or Bomb Teclulician Units shall be <br />paid additional compensation at the rate of three hundred ($300.00} dollars, annually. <br />Compensation shall be paid upon assignment to the position. <br />7.08 All employees shall receive a shift differential in the amount of seventy-five ($.75) cents <br />per hour. Shift differential shall be paid to employees assigned to the second (1500 to 2300) <br />shift, third (2300 to 0700) shift, and swing (2000 to 0400) shift, respectively. <br />7.09 All forms of compensation shall be paid by electronic deposit to commence at the <br />Employer's convenience, but not less than thirty (30) days after the execution of this Agreement. <br />In the event an employee is deemed un-bankable, the Employer will meet with the employee to <br />attempt to remedy the problem. <br />7.10 Notwithstanding the provisions of paragraphs 7.05, 7.06, 7.07, 7.08, no payments will be <br />due, owing or paid during the calendar years 2010 and 2011. <br />7.11 There shall be a reopener, effective November 1, 2010, for the purposes of negotiating <br />wage rates and furloughs during the 2011 calendar year. <br />ARTICLE VIII <br />LONGEVITY PAY <br />8.01 All full-time sworn employees shall receive longevity pay as additional compensation <br />computed on annual salary as follows: <br />4% after employee completes 5 years <br />5% after employee completes 10 years <br />6% after employee completes 15 years <br />7% after employee completes 20 years <br />For the purpose of this section, the term aiulual salary is defined as base pay, shift <br />differential, over-time vacation and sick pay. <br />In computing length of service for the purpose of making payments of longevity <br />increments as herein above set forth, no credit shall be given for part-time service, but such <br />limitation is the only exclusion for the purpose of computing longevity. <br />ARTICLE IX HOLIDAYS <br />9.01 All bargaining unit members shall be entitled to certain holidays during the year and shall <br />not be required to work on these holidays, unless scheduled to work by the Chief of Police. In <br />the event the bargaining unit member either works or was not scheduled to work for reasons <br />other than holiday leave on one of the following holidays, then the bargaining unit member shall <br />receive another day off from work for reasons other than holiday leave. The scheduled holidays <br />are as follows: <br />NEW YEAR'S DAY THANKSGIVING DAY <br />PRESIDENT'S DAY CHRISTMAS DAY <br />EASTER SUNDAY VETERAN'S DAY <br />MEMORIAL DAY EMPLOYEE'S BIRTHDAY <br />JULY FOURTH EMPLOYEE'S PERSONAL DAY <br />
