exam, the Employer shall place the employee into another available job he is capable of <br />performing at his regular rate of pay, provided it falls within the new job's wage schedule, or at <br />the top of the new job's wage schedule if his regular rate of pay does not fall within the new <br />job's wage schedule. Such placement shall supersede lateral transfers, the posting procedure, and <br />work week or shift preference transfers. <br />42.04 If no job is available, the employee shall be laid off until such time as a job is available or <br />until such time as he obtains his CDL, whichever is sooner. Upon obtaining his CDL, -the . - - <br />employee shall be returned to his previous job. <br />42.05 Employees required to take the driving portion of CDL exam shall be permitted to use a <br />Employer vehicle for that exam. <br />42.06 All employees who have a Class A CDL will receive an additional thirty-five ($.35) cents <br />per hour for all hours worked. <br />ARTICLE 43 UNIFORMS <br />43.01 For those employees indicating a desire to be provided uniforms, the Employer shall <br />continue to provide such uniforms. The Employer shall provide eleven (1l) shirts and pacts <br />(long sleeve in winter months and short sleeve in summer months) to those employees. All <br />employees that elect to receive uniforms shall wear such uniforms during all working hours. <br />Employees that have elected not to be provided uniforms, may wear T-shirts or other reasonable <br />attire in lieu of the uniform shirt. <br />43.02 The Employer shall provide a written Acknowledgment Form to each member of the <br />bargaining unit. The employee shall be required to iznznediately sign, date and note his choice to <br />either be provided with a uniform or reject acceptance of an Employer provided uniform for the <br />duration of this agreement and immediately return the form to his supervisor. <br />43.03 Employees that elected not to be provided uniforms, shall be required to report ready for <br />work in clothing that is neat, clean and untattered. <br />ARTICLE 44 CONTRACTS <br />44.01 The Employer shall provide each employee with a copy of this Agreement. <br />ARTICLE 45 GENDER AND PLURAL <br />45.01 Whenever the context so requires, the use of words herein, in the singular, shall be <br />construed to include the plural, and words in the plural, the singular, and words whether in the <br />masculine, feminine or neuter gender shall be construed to include all of said genders. By the <br />use of either the masculine or feminine genders it is undezstood that said use is for convenience <br />purposes only and is not to be interpreted to be discriminatory by reason of sex. <br />28 <br />
