,, .. ' Resolution No. 2009-78 SECTION 1: That the Director of Human Resources be and she is hereby authorized to purchase through the State Purchasing Program, which was established by O.R.C. Section 125.04, and which the City is authorized to participate in, an email software server, an email archiving software server and a MLJNIS server, all of which are described in the specifications on file in the Department of Human Resources. If necessary to effectuate any such purchase through the State Purchasing Program, the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute any contract and/or other appropriate documents required by the authorized vendor(s) or the State of Ohio. Any such contract(s) executed by the Mayor shall be in a form and substance consistent with the provisions of this Resolution and approved by the Director of Law. SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and further for the reason that it is necessary that this Resolution go into effect immediately to insure that the City meets all legal requirements for records retention and public records requests at the earliest possible date and further due to Human Resources' desire to begin implementation in August; and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. ~'.--~ PASSED: ~ , ~ v7 ~ v~IIO First Reading: ~ /lo D Second Reading: 4~ a s O Third Reading: Committee: ', -f ,..e-~~.~.~~ ATTEST: ,- ~~ .~ J BARBARA L.
