' Resolution No. 2009-78 <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Human Resources be and she is hereby authorized to <br />purchase through the State Purchasing Program, which was established by O.R.C. Section <br />125.04, and which the City is authorized to participate in, an email software server, an email <br />archiving software server and a MLJNIS server, all of which are described in the specifications on <br />file in the Department of Human Resources. If necessary to effectuate any such purchase through <br />the State Purchasing Program, the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute any contract and/or <br />other appropriate documents required by the authorized vendor(s) or the State of Ohio. Any such <br />contract(s) executed by the Mayor shall be in a form and substance consistent with the provisions <br />of this Resolution and approved by the Director of Law. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and further <br />for the reason that it is necessary that this Resolution go into effect immediately to insure that the <br />City meets all legal requirements for records retention and public records requests at the earliest <br />possible date and further due to Human Resources' desire to begin implementation in August; <br />and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it <br />shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />~'.--~ <br />PASSED: ~ , ~ v7 ~ v~IIO <br />First Reading: ~ /lo D <br />Second Reading: 4~ a s O <br />Third Reading: <br />Committee: ', -f ,..e-~~.~.~~ <br />ATTEST: <br />,- <br />~~ <br />.~ J <br />BARBARA L.
