. ~""+, <br />~... ,~^ <br />Ordinance No. 2009-71 <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he hereby is authorized to enter into an extension <br />contract with Silverlode Consulting Corp., to provide economic development consulting <br />services to the City for a second additional one-year period from June 11, 2009 to June 10, <br />2010. Said extension contract, which provides for Silverlode to provide consulting services <br />on an hourly rather than retainer basis, shall be in the form of the contract attached to this <br />legislation as Exhibit A, with only such changes thereto as are not substantially adverse to the <br />City and which are approved by the Director of Law. The character of any such changes as not <br />being substantially adverse to the City shall be evidenced conclusively by the execution of the <br />agreement by the Mayor and the approval of the agreement by the Director of Law. <br />SECTION Z: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and further <br />for the reason that it is necessary that this Resolution go into effect immediately due to the <br />impending expiration date of June 10, 2009 for the current contract with Silverlode; and <br />further provided it receives the affirmative vote oftwo-thirds of all members of Council, it <br />shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ~~~-~-e. ~~~ C>~C?~ ~/ First Reading: ~ ~- D 9 <br />~~'~ Second Reading: ~ le <br />Third Reading: ~-~-F-{--~ <br />Committee: ~~~- ,,,c~.~r..,rak. <br />ATT T.• <br />f ~/~ ~, <br />ARBARA L.
