The successful examiner shall work cooperatively with the City of North Olmsted Building <br />Department staff. Please submit a brief statement of the applicant's approach to collaboration <br />and communicating with the City. The examiner shall be responsible for informing the Chief <br />Building Official as to the compliance or non-compliance with most current codes designated by <br />the State Board of Building Standards for structures larger than three family and any related <br />accessory structures such as signs, as well as for structures of three family or less. Proposals shall <br />include a brief description of the work elements of the following: <br />a. Activities to be performed. <br />1. The architect shall perform plan reviews as defined by OBC 105.3.1.1 and <br />105.3.1.3. <br />2. The architect shall meet with the Building Official or City representative and <br />shall, with him or alone as instructed, visit construction sites and existing <br />structures under jurisdictional authority of the City and make whatever inspection <br />reports, written or oral, that maybe deemed necessary at the time. <br />b. Method of transmittal of documents. <br />c. Anticipated schedule of review time: <br />1. New home construction <br />2. Commercial reconstruction <br />3. New commercial construction <br />4. Other, such as shop drawings (sprinkler systems, suppression systems, <br />fire alarm), sign installations, etc. <br />d. Proposed fee charges for examination. Please include any additional fees for services <br />provided other than plan examination. <br />CONTRACT TERMS <br />Contracts to take effect on June 28, 2009 for a period of two years. <br />
