BOWEN + ASSOCIATES, INC. <br />For <br />CONSULTING ENGINEERING SERVICES <br />THIS AGREEMENT made at North Olmsted, Ohio, on the day of F'el±n~ar~!, <br />2008 by and between the CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, 5200 Dover Center Road, <br />North Olmsted, Ohio 44070 [hereinafter referred to as "CITY"}, and RICHARD L. <br />BOWEN + ASSOCIATES, INC., 13000 Shaker Boulevard, Cleveland, Ohio, 44120 <br />[hereinafter referred to as "CONSULTING ENGINEER"]; and DANIEL J. COLLINS <br />[hereinafter referred to as "CITY ENGINEER"]; and PIETRO A. DiFRANCO <br />[hereinafter referred to as "ASSISTANT CITY ENGINEER"}. <br />WHEREAS, the CTI'Y's Council, pursuant to Ordinance No. 2006-118, <br />authorized the Director of Public Service to request proposals for consulting engineering <br />services to augment and assist the CITY's Division of Engineering thereinafter referred to <br />as the "SERVICES"], and for the Mayor, following approval by the Board of Control, to <br />enter into a contract with the engineering firm selected to perform the SERVICES; and <br />WHEREAS, the CITY Board of Control selected CITY ENGINEER and <br />CONSULTING ENGINEER as the persona and firm most qualified to perform the <br />professional services required at a price that is fair and reasonable to the CITY, and the <br />CITY subsequently entered into a contract with the CITY ENGINEER and <br />CONSULTING ENGINEER; and <br />WHEREAS, from time to time thereafter, the CYTY Council has authorized <br />extensions of the original contract entered into between the CITY, CITY ENGINEER, <br />and CONSULTING ENGINEER; and <br />EXHIBIT <br /> <br />
