<br />?. ?.. <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2001- 156 <br />BY: MAYOR NORMAN MUSIAL <br />AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE NECESSITY AND INTENTION OF <br />THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO, TO APPROPRIATE TWO <br />VACANT PARCELS OF REAL PROPERTY ON OR NEAR RELOCATED <br />252 JUST SOUTH OF THE INTERSTATE-480 EAST BOUND TRAFFIC <br />ENTRANCE RAMP, IDENTIFIED AS PERMANENT PARCEL NOS. 236- <br />11-017 AND 236-12-004, FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTING A <br />PUBLIC ROADWAY, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted desires to acquire two parcels of real property <br />located on or near Relocated State Route 252 just south of the Interstate 480 eastbound traffic <br />entrance ramp, for the purposes of constructing thereupon a public roadway; and <br />WHEREAS, it is anticipated that the said new public roadway would lead to the proposed <br />GCRTA Park-N-Ride facility, which this Council has shown its support for in, inter alia, creating <br />and providing a parking overlay zoning district for the land where the facility is to be located; and <br />WHEREAS, the involved parcels of land which would be used for the dedicated public <br />roadway are Permanent Parcel Nos. 236-11-017 and 236-12-004; and <br />WHEREAS, it is a public necessity to acquire these parcels for roadway so that the public <br />will be able to access the new GCRTA Park-N-Ride facility; and <br />WHEREAS, negotiations with the owners of the aforementioned two parcels described in <br />this Ordinance have failed to result in any agreement; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THIS COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO. <br />SECTION 1: That this Council deems it necessary, declares its intention to appropriate, <br />and authorizes the appropriation of, for the purpose of constructing a public roadway, the fee <br />simple title interest in and to the following parcels of real property located in the City of North <br />Oimsted: Permanent Parcel Nos. 236-11-017 and 236-12-004. The legal descriptions and maps <br />of said parcels of real property which are to be appropriated are attached to this Ordinance as <br />Exhibits lA-B and 2A-B, and are expressly incorporated herein by reference as if fully stated <br />herein.
