<br />(B) Each permanent public employee who is entitled to leave provided under division (A) <br />of this section shall submit to the permanent public employee's appointing authority the published <br />order authorizing the call or order to the uniformed services or a written statement from the <br />appropriate military commander authorizing that service, prior to being credited with such leave. <br />SECTION Z: That any Ordinance, or part of any Ordinance, in conflict or inconsistent <br />with any provision of this Ordinance is, to the extent of any such conflict or inconsistency, <br />repealed. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare of the residents <br />of the City of North Olmsted, and for the further reason that it is necessary that Ordinance <br />immediately go into effect so that employees who are called to service as a result of the conflict in <br />Afghanistan may receive the benefits eonferred by the Ordinance, and further provided it receives the <br />affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it sha11 take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor <br />PASSED: ?e-?-w?J/l? a rn l <br />First Reading: ?1 a o o l <br />Second Reading.• <br />Third ReadingL/a ) /g / o I <br />Committee: <br />ATTEST.• <br />a? <br />BARBARA L.
