Seetion 2. Effec4ive Jufy 1; 2002 through June 30, 2003 aii employees in the bargaining unit shall -receive <br />a wage increase of three percent (3°!0) and be paid in accordance with the wage rates set forth in <br />Appendix "A-I <br />Section 3. Effective July 1, 2003 through the durat'ron of this Agreement, all .employees in the bargaining <br />unit shall recsive a wage increase of three percent (3.0%) and be paid in accordance with fhe wage rates <br />set forth in Appendix "A-2". <br />Secfion 4. Paychecks wili be available on Friday noon for employees who are not scheduled to work <br />Friday or who have campieted their work at that time; and at the end of the day shift for other empioyees. <br />The paychecks for empfoyees af the Wastewater Treatment Plant ending their scheduled week at 7:00 <br />A.M. on Friday will be avai(able at 7:00 AM. In the event of a shonage in an smpfoyee paycheck that <br />exceeds $25.00, such shortage shall be paid within 48 working hours after nofice of such shortage is <br />made fo supervisor. <br />ARTIGLE 36 - PREiU[iUN[ PAY <br />Secfion 1. Effecfiive July 1, 2001 through the duration of fhis Agreement, fhe night shift premiurn for the <br />Service Department shall be seventy cents ($.70) and the rotating shift prernium for the Wastewater <br />Treatment Plant shall be seventy cents ($.70). The rotating snift prerriium shall con#inue ta be paid for all <br />hours worked by employees on a rotating shift. <br />Section 2. Empfoyee's within the Wastewater Treatment P(ant shall receive a premium of tvvo ($2.00) <br />doflars per hour for aff hours assigned by management and actuaify pet-Form dufies ar,d functions of an <br />"acting foreman". All such empiQyee's fhat have been assigned by management to function as an "acting <br />foreman" shall be required to perForm afl duties and functions of a"Foreman" including the appfication and <br />use of independent judgment. In no event shall an employee be assigned duiies and functions as an <br />"acting zareman" in excess of thirty consecutive working days unless the assignment is a result of fhe <br />fioliowing conditions: <br />(a) to fi11 a vacancy caused by sickness, injury ar other rnanagemeni approved absences of a <br />foreman. <br />(b) to provide vacation relief far a foreman. <br />31
