ARTICl:E 44 - UNIFORMS <br />Secfion 'I. The City shali within thirty (30) days foffowing the. execution of this agreement, poll each <br />mamber of the hargaining unit regarding their desire tQ be provided a uniform. For those empfoyees <br />indicating a desire to be provided uniforms, the City shall confinue to provide such uniforms. The City shall <br />provide elevsn (11) shirts and pants (long sleeve in winter months and short steeve in summer manths) to <br />fhose emptoyees. All employees that elect to receive uniforms shail wear such uniforms during all working <br />haurs. Ernployees thaf have elected not to be provided uniforms, may wear T- shirts or other reasonable. <br />attire in (ie-u of the uniform shirt. <br />Section 2. The City shall provide a written Acknowledgment Form to each member of the bargaining unit. <br />The employee shall be required to imrnediately sign, date and note his choice to either be provided with a <br />uniform or reject accepfance of a City provided uniform ror the duration oi this agreement and irnmediately <br />return the sorm to his supervisor. <br />Section 3. Employees that efected not to be provided uniforms, shafl be required to report ready for work <br />in ciothing that is neat, clean and untattered. <br />ARTlCLE 45 - C?NTRAGTS <br />Section '[. The City shall provide each bargaining unit employee w'rth a copy of this Agreement. <br />ARTfCLE 46 - DURATION <br />Section 1. This Agreement shall become effective on the 1 st day of July, 2001 and shall continue in full <br />force and effect until midnight on June 30, 2004, and thereafter from year to year unfess at least one <br />hundred and twenty (120) days prior to said expiratian date, or any anniversary thereaf, either party gives <br />fimefy written notice of an intention to reopen negotiafions, an initiai conference will be arranged within <br />fourteen (14) days after receipt of such notice, but not eariier than March 18th preceding expiration of this <br />Agreement. <br />35
