11. Arrange for mainfenance and repair of office machines. <br />12. Gafher and organize information as directed. 13. Take rninutes at department heads meetings when needed. <br />14. Keeps all records on projects, ordinances, meefings and complaints. <br />15. Fill in on PBX during lunch an a rotafing basis. <br />16. Performs general cferical tasks such as filing, faxing, and copying information, <br />17. Assists and/or serves as back-up for other secretary or department staff as needed, <br />18. May process or prepare fime sheets, insurance forms, requisitions, various permits, licenses, bid <br />package, and/or publication requests, <br />19. Performs afl other relafed duties as assigned. <br />20. Other duties as assigned, <br />SPECIAL SKILLS. KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: <br />Skilis in typing, data enfry and word pracessing. Skills in public contacf and customer relafions. Knowledge of <br />general office procedures. Knowledge of assigned departmental policies and procedures. Ability to operate <br />standard office equipment, including computers. Abi(ify to work independentiy with minimum supervision. <br />SPECIAL SKILLS. KNOWLEDGE AND ABILIT(ES: <br />- Must excel in English, composifion, spelling, grammar, and puncfuafion, <br />- Skills in typing, data entry and word processing. <br />- Skills in public contacf/customer relations. <br />- Skills in generai office procedures. <br />- Skilis in operafive standard office equipment, including computers. <br />- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision. <br />- Skilled in typing accurately and neatly (minimum 45 wpm) <br />55
