Specifications <br />CAB <br />The cab shall be designed specifically for the fire service and manufactured by the chassis <br />builder. <br />Consti-uction of the cab shall consist of 5052-.125" aluminum welded to extruded aluminum <br />framing. <br />The cab shall be built bv the apparatus inanufacturer in a facility located on the manufacturer's <br />premises. (no exceptions) <br />The cab shall be 96.00" wide, with an interior width of 87.50". <br />The forvvard cab section overall height (cab roof to ground) shall be approximately 99.00". <br />The crew cab section shall have a 10.00" raised roof with an overall cab heiaht of 109". <br />The floor to ceilinL, height inside the crew cab sha11 be 62.50. <br />The crew cab floor shall measure 4' ).75" from rear wall to the back side of enyine tunnel. <br />The crew cab shall be of the totally enclosed desian, with access doors constructed in the <br />same manner as the driver and passen1ger doors. <br />The cab shall be a full tilt cab style. The enaine shall be easily accessible and capable of <br />beina removed xith the cab tilted. <br />The cab shall have three (3)-point rubber mountina and shall be tilted by a hydraulic pump <br />connected to two (2) cab lift cylinders. The cab shall then be locl.ed down by a two (2 )-point <br />automatic loclcing mechanism that actuates after the cab has been lowered. <br />The cab access steps sha11 be 22.00" wide, crew eab shall be 21,50" wide x 8.00" minimuin <br />depth, located inside the door, protecting the step from weather elements. <br />The inside cab steps shall not exceed 16.50" high. <br />-Tbe crew cab entrance shall be a two (2) step desiQn for easy access. <br />A 20.00", slip resistant, handrail shall be provided adjacent to all door openiilgs to assist <br />entrance into the cab. <br />A rubber covered handrail shall be pro?,,ided inside each front cab door, adjacent to the door <br />posts. <br />The cab doors sha11 be 35.00" wide x 69.00" high. <br />Bidder <br />Complies <br />Yes I No <br />Pa¢e 18
