Specifications <br />message center located at the drivers position. The on-board message center shall include the <br />following diagnostic information: <br />- Multiple dia-nostics on displa_y with text description <br />- Simplified warning indicators (from operators perspective) <br />SERN'ICE AND MAINTENAI'VCE DIAGNOSTICS <br />Advanced vehicle service and maintenance shall be assisted with a'Windows-based software <br />prograin. The software shall provide advanced troubleshooting tools to service technicians <br />equipped with an IBM compatible computer. The service and nlaintenance software shall <br />include the following features: <br />- Easy ta understand and use <br />- Ability to view system input/output (I/O) infonnation <br />-_Appl-opriate warnings regardin2 the location of weldin-sensitive coznponents <br />- A coinplete troubleshooting guide shall be provided with the vehicle. <br />INDIC ATOR LIGHT AND AL 4RM PR4VE-OU'T <br />A systein shall be provided which shall automatically test basic indicator lights and alaT-i-ils <br />located on the cab instrument panel. <br />N'OLTAGE MO'vITOR SYSTEM <br />A voltage monitor system shall be provided to indicate the status of the hattery svstem <br />colulected to the vehicles electrical load. Tlae monitor system shall provide visual and audio <br />Nvanling when the system voltaae is below optimum levels. <br />The alarn7 shall activate if the system falls below 11.8 VDC for more than two (2) minutes. <br />PO'"'ER 4ND GROtiND STUDS <br />Four (4) studs shall be provided in the electrical eomponent compartment for two-wav radio <br />equipment. The studs shall consist of: <br />- Stud one shall be 12-volt 40-amp, controlled by battery switch <br />- Stud two sha11 be 12-volt around <br />- Stud three shall be 12-volt 60-amp, controlled by ignition switch <br />- Stud four shall be12-volt 60-amp, battery direct. <br />EMURFI PROTECTION <br />The electrical system proposed shall reduce undesired elecn-omaQnetic and radio fi-equency <br />emissions.
