Specifications <br />LIGHT. BELOW HOSE BED <br />A Federa] Signalmaster SMLB - 30 shall be recess mounted on the rear of the vehicle beiween <br />the rear compartment and the hose bed area. A control head SMC1 shall be used to actuate <br />the Iight. This control head shall be located in the cab within easy access to the driver. The <br />control unit shall simulate the lights on the rear of the vehicle. The light shall be capable of <br />four (4) warning patterns. They shall consist of Arrow Right, Arrow Left, Center Out, and <br />Alternatinc, Flash. The 1iaht is 2.70" high x 41.80" wide x 330" deep. <br />SIDE ZONE LOWER LIGHTING <br />There shall be a combination of two (2) Whelen 6E senes linear strobe Iights and four (4) <br />,AThelen 6E series halo2en fIashina lights provided on the apparatus. All lights shall be <br />provided with a mounting flange. V <br />The Whelen 6E series Iinear strobe lights with flan?eshall be located at the follo??inQ <br />position: y v <br />- Front bumper extension - one (1) each side. <br />The Whelen 64 series halogen flashing IiQhts with flange shall be located at the following <br />positions: <br />- Side of cab (midship) - one (1) each side. <br />- Rear fender panel of the apparatus - one (1) each side. <br />AlI lights shall be provided with red Ienses. <br />The lighfs shal1 be controlled by a Iighted switch on the cab instrument panel. There shall be <br />a Whelen, Model UPS-64LX, power supply provided for controlling the flash pattei-n of the <br />strobe liahts and an electronic flasher for controllina the flash patteni halogen Iights. <br />REAR ZONE LQ«IER LIGHTING <br />Two (2) Whelen 6E series red linear strobe Iiahts shall be located rear face above roll door at <br />the rear of the apparatus required to meet the lower level optical warning and optical power <br />requirements of NFPA. Each liaht shall be provided with a V?'helen, Model 6EFLANGE, trim <br />bezeL ? <br />Vt'AR-NING LIGHTS (Rear of Hose Bed) <br />Two (2) Whelen, Model B6RS**1P, combination halogen/strobe warung liahts shall be <br />provided at the rear of the truck, located one (1) on each side. The Iiahts shall each contain a <br />RB6 rotatinc, beacon and a 7E series linear strobe liaht mounted in a polished aluminum <br />housing.
