Operational, <br />maintenance and performance requirements (both presently and future) have been evaluated and <br />prioritized. <br />This fire apparatus is designed to provide inany years of trouble free service protectin` the lives <br />and property of the citizens and employers of North Olmsted; using reliable, proven components <br />and en?ineering practices. <br />This fire apparatus has been specified with certain mandatory operational, maintenance and <br />performance requirements to allow lovv cost growth, standardized components, ease of operation <br />and the latest technology to be utilized far into the future. All of the required colnponents are <br />available to all bidders. <br />Please feel free to bid the apparatus as specified; do not propose items or designs whieh are <br />"possible and should work" nor- delete or omit ani, items. In short: bid what the North <br />Olmsted Fire Department "needs" for efficient operation, not just what you may "have". <br />The North Olmsted Fire Department reserves the right to reject any, and a11 bids ??hich do not <br />meet tlleir operational, maintenance and perfornzance requirements. <br />BIDDER AFFIDAVIT AND CERTIFICATION ? <br />Each bidder, who is a foreiLyn corporation, that is, a corporation not chartered in Ohio, but <br />licensed to do business in Ohio; is required to submit with his bid an affidavit duly executed <br />by the president, vice-president, or general manajer of the corporation stating in said affidavit <br />that said foreian corporation has, in accordance with the provisions of the Revised Code of the <br />State of Ohio; obtained a certificate authorizing it to do business in the State of Ohio.
