An electrical <br />instrumeilt gauge panel shall be provided for the operator to monitor and control all electrical <br />operations and output. <br />The Qenerator snall utilize the main chassis transmission to power the Qenerator. The <br />aenerator shall be driven by an enaine transmission constant engaged power take off (PTO) <br />unit, through a hydraulic pump and motor. <br />The Qenerator shall be operable any time that the truck engine is running and the minimum <br />enaine RPM is met. An eleetrical control, with indicator Iight, sha11 be provided inside the <br />cab to activate the Qenerator. <br />Generator Instruments and Controls <br />To properly monitor the generator perfonnance a diaital meter panel shall be fui-nished and <br />mounted next to the circuit breaker panel. The meter shall indicate the followina items: <br />- Voltage <br />- AmperaQe for botll lines <br />-Frequency <br />- Geiierator run hours <br />- Over cui-rent indication <br />- Over temperature indication <br />- Service required indication <br />- "Power On" indicatioil <br />- Two (2) fuse holders with two (2) amp fuses (for indicator light proteetion) <br />The meter and indicators shall be installed near eye level in the compartment.
