Specifications <br />his manufacturing facility ineets the above conditioris and that it is in compliance with his <br />State EPA rules and regulations. <br />P4INT CHASSIS FRAME 4SSEMBLY <br />The chassis frame assemblv shall be painted black before the installation of the cab and bodv. <br />and before installation of the engine and transmission assembly, air brake lii7es; electrical wire <br />harnesses, etc. Components that are included with the chassis frame assembly that shall be <br />painted blaclc are frame rails, cross members; axles, suspension, steering gear, fuel tanlc, bodv <br />substructure supports, miscellazieous mountina brackets, etc. <br />M'ARR4NTY - PAInT AND CORROSION <br />The cab and bodv exterior paint finish shall be warranted against blistering, peeling, bubbling, <br />lacl< of adhesion or anv other manufacturing or material defect for a period of six (6) vears. <br />Tize cab and bodv si.all also be warranted aaainst corrosion perforation for a period of ten (10) <br />vears. y <br />A copy of the manufacturer's warrant_y s17a11 be included with the bid. <br />PAINT. COMPARTMENT I1lTERIOR <br />Interior of compartmentation shall be painfed with a gray spatter type paint. <br />REFLECTIVE BANI? <br />A 6.00" white reflective band sllall be provided across the front of the vehicle and along the <br />sides of the bod,,-. A 4.00" band shall be provided at the rear of the apparatus. <br />The reflective band provided on the cab face shall be at the headliQht level. <br />MOLDItiG (on sides of cab) <br />Chrome inoldinQ shall be provided on both sides of cab. <br />LETTERING <br />Tlie letterin2 shall be totally encapsulated bemeen two (2) layers of clear vinyl. <br />LNMINE1TI0N VVAR.RANTY <br />The. manutacturer shall provide a three (3) year warranty against defects in material and <br />workmanship with the graphics process. .4 copy of the fir•e apparatus manufacturer's warranty <br />shall be included with the bid. LETTERING <br />Genuine gold leaf lettering, 4.00" high, outlining and snading shall be proeided. <br />GOLD LEAF LETTERING <br />Four (4) letters, 11.00" high, shall be provided. LetterinQ shall be genuine 22 karat aold leaf <br />with an outline and shading for accent.
