4% after employee completes 5 years 5% after employee compietes 10 years 6% after employee completes 15 years 7% after employee comp{etes 20 years In computing length of service for the purpose of making payments of longevity increments as hereinabove set forth, no credit shall be given for part-time service, but such limitation is the only exclusion for the purpose of computing longevity increments, and the exclusion for part-time service shall not deprive any employee of any other benefits which may be due them for part-time service as employees of the safety department. SECTION 2: Employees hired after January 1, 1990 shall receive longevity in accordance with the following schedule: $250.00 after employee completes five (5) years $500.00 after employee completes ten (10) years $750.00 after employee completes fifteen years (15) years $1,000 after employee completes twenty (20) years ARTICLE 30: SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL SECTION 1: Effective July 1, 2001 and each year thereafter, all full-time ernployees shall receive a shift differential in the amount of seventy-five cents ($.75) per hour. Shift differential shall only be paid to thase employees working the second (2nd), third (3rd), or swing shifts.
