Wade-Trim SSOS Valley Belt Road Independence, Ohio 44131 Re: Request for Proposal, Engineering Services for Rehabilitation af a Portion of South Canterbury Road Dear Mr. Flower: I am requesting a Proposal to provide professional engineering services for the rehabilitation.c+f a portian o.Ll South Canterbury Road from Butternut Ridge Road south approximately 1600 feet. The proposed work wil'1 include the following: l. The preparation of construction documents for the replacement :of the asphalt pave- ment with concrete pavement, integral curbing and subbase in accordance with current standards. 2. The replacernent of the existing eight (8) inch water Iine with a new twelve (12) inch line, including hydrants. ` 3. The addition of a storm sewer main and six (6) inch connections to the right-of-way line of all existing and future residential lots. 4. The extension of all sanitary sewer six (6) inch connections to the right-of-way Iine for the currently vacant property on the,easf side af South Canterbury Drive. 5. The possible inclusion of a short median island at Butternut Ridge Road (about three (3) feet wide by one hundred (100) feet long). Final design and size to be determined during the design period. 6. The placement of above ground utilities for electricity, telephone and cable under- ground, including the service drops for existing structures. This includes all necessary coordination with the owners of the respective utilities for work to be done by the City's contractor and work to be done by the utility companies or their contractors. is "Together We Can Make A Difference!" . w
