Howard Flower, P.S. <br />Wade-Trim <br />SSOS Valley Belt Road <br />Independence, Ohio 44131 <br />Re: Request for Proposal, Engineering Services for <br />Rehabilitation af a Portion of South Canterbury Road <br />Dear Mr. Flower: <br />I am requesting a Proposal to provide professional engineering services for the <br />rehabilitation.c+f a portian o.Ll South Canterbury Road from Butternut Ridge Road south <br />approximately 1600 feet. The proposed work wil'1 include the following: <br />l. The preparation of construction documents for the replacement :of the asphalt pave- <br />ment with concrete pavement, integral curbing and subbase in accordance with <br />current standards. <br />2. The replacernent of the existing eight (8) inch water Iine with a new twelve (12) inch <br />line, including hydrants. ` <br />3. The addition of a storm sewer main and six (6) inch connections to the right-of-way <br />line of all existing and future residential lots. <br />4. The extension of all sanitary sewer six (6) inch connections to the right-of-way Iine <br />for the currently vacant property on the,easf side af South Canterbury Drive. <br />5. The possible inclusion of a short median island at Butternut Ridge Road (about three <br />(3) feet wide by one hundred (100) feet long). Final design and size to be determined <br />during the design period. <br />6. The placement of above ground utilities for electricity, telephone and cable under- <br />ground, including the service drops for existing structures. This includes all necessary <br />coordination with the owners of the respective utilities for work to be done by the <br />City's contractor and work to be done by the utility companies or their contractors. <br />is <br />"Together We Can Make A Difference!" <br />. w
