Drawings sl2all include a title sheet, general notes, plan sheets, and detail sheets. (c) Work shall be coordinated with utility companies as necessary. The City Engineer shall be copied in all correspondence to utility compa.nies. (d) All plans will be reviewed by the City. Submit two (Z) uiterim copies of the plans and specifications for review. A11 construction documents must comply with O?uo Basic Bui?ding Code. 5. Detailed Design Document Services: (a) Preparation of design drawings, technical specifications and bid form for use in bidding and constrcaction. The specifications will be incorporated by the City into a project manual which shall also include the advertisement, instruction to bidders, general conditions, bid forms, bond requirements, prevailing wage rates, affidavits, and other miscellaneous forms required for a bidding docu- ment. Final plans and specifications shall incorporate all changes required in review of preliminary or intermediate plans. (b) All design drawings may be done using an electronic program which is com- patible with the AutoCAD C Version 12 program. If done electronically, a diskette or diskettes, if necessary, formatted in AutoCAD C Version 12 contain- ing a file for each final design drawing prepared during the project shall be submitted to the City. A diskette or diskettes prepared in Microsoft Word of the tecllnical specifications must be submitted to the City. (c) Ten sets of plans and project manuals shall be furnished to tlie City for each bid package for bidding purposes. (d) An opinion ofprobable costs for each bid package, broken down into major components, shall be submitted prior to bidding. (e) The design professional or his representative shall be available to answer ques- tions regarding plans intent during bidding and construction. Attendance at a pre-construction meeting is expected. You may submit the price proposal in the format you deem most appropriate; however, the City prefers the proposal to include an amount not to exceed a specific dollar amount for tlie design of all improvements. You may also include any standard terms a.ud conditions of your proposals, rates for supplementary services, and any clarifications or qualifications to the requested proposal, which you deem appropriate.
