Page 3 of4 <br />(c) A11 final plans will be reviewed by the City. Subnit two (2) interim copies af the <br />plan sheets for review. <br />5. Detaiied Desfgn I)ocaament Seawices• <br />(a) Preparation of design drawings and specifications for use in bidding and con- <br />sfizction. The specifications sha11 be incorporated into a project manual which <br />shall also include the advertisement, instruction to bidders, general conditions, <br />bid forms, bond requirements, prevailing wage rates, affidavits, and other misc- <br />ellaneous forms requireci for a bidding document. Final plans and specifications <br />shall incorporate a.ll changes required in review of preliminary or intermediate <br />plans. <br />(b) All design drawings shali be done using an electronic program which is com- <br />patible with the AutoC.AD C Version 12 program. A diskette or diskettes, if <br />necessary, formatted in AutoCAD C Version 12 containing a file far each final <br />design drawing prepared duzing the proj ect shall be submitted to the City, <br />(c) Worlc shall be coordinated with utility companies as necessary. The City Engineer <br />sha.ll be copied in all cogrespondence to utility compasiies. <br />(d) Twelve (12) sets of plans a.nd twelve (12) project manuals shall be fi.uni.shed to <br />the City for bidding purposes. Additional sets shall be provided, if required, at <br />cost. <br />(e) An opinion of probable costs for the project, broken down into maj or compo- <br />nents, shall be submitted prior to bidding. _ <br />(f) The Engineer or his representative shall be available io answer questians <br />regarding plans intent during bidding and construction. <br />You may suhmit the price proposal in the fozrnat you deem most apprapriate; however, <br />the City prefers the praposal to include an amount nat to exceed a specific dollar amount <br />for the design af the facility anci a specific dollar amaunt for easement properties. You <br />must also suhmit a Direct Labor Hour Estimata using a table preparerl following a format <br />similar to the format presented in the two enclosures. You may also include any standard <br />terms and conditions of your proposals, rates for supplementary services, and any clari- <br />fications or qualif cations to the requested propasal, which you deem appropriate. It is the <br />zntent of the City to advertise for construction as soon as the design is comp3eted. <br />Therefore, the proposal must include a tentative schedule of the cansultant's activities to <br />complete the professional services. <br />Plans showing existing utilities in the area are ava,ilable far your review.
