A <br />diskette or diskettes prepared in 1VSicrosoft Word of the detailed specifications <br />shall also be submitted to the City. <br />(c) Work shall be coordinated with utility coinpanies as necessary. The City Eizgineer <br />shall be copied in all correspondence to utility companies. <br />(d) Tha work may be bid as more than one bid package as muiually agreed between <br />City and designer. For example: grading and dra.inage; irrigation system; <br />m.azntenance buiiding; golf course features. <br />(e) Twelve (12) sets of plans and project manuals shall be furnished to tlle City for <br />each bid paclcage for bidding purposes. Additional sets shall be provided, if <br />required, at cost. <br />(f) An opinion of prabable costs for the proj ect, brolcen down into major compo- <br />nents, shall be submitted prior to bidding. <br />(g) The design professional or his representative shall be available to answer <br />questions regardulg plans intent during bidding and constructian. Attendance at <br />a pre-construction meeting is expected. <br />(h) A minimum of eiglit (8) site visits are to be included in the scope of work for the <br />construction phase. Preparatian of a punch list shall be included in this phase of <br />the work. <br />(i) Preparation of record drawings of the `as-built' conditions. <br />(j) Start-up assistance including programmiilg of control equipmeilt. <br />In order for a proposal to be considered responsive, it is required the proposer schedule <br />and attend a"wallc-through" meeting with Springvale Golf Course Facility Manager, Mr. <br />Marty Young. He inay be reached at (440) 716-4257. This mandatory meeting must occur <br />prior to March 16, 2001. <br />You may submit tlie price proposal in the format you deem most appropriate; however, <br />the City prefers the proposal to include an amount not to exceed a specific dollar amount <br />for the design of all improvements. You inust also submit a Direct Labor Hour Estimate <br />using a table prepared following a format similar to the format pxesented in the two <br />enclosures. You may also include any standard terms and conditions of your proposals, <br />rates for supplementary services, and any clarifications ar qualifications to the requested <br />proposal, which you deem appropriate. The proposal must include a tentative schedule in <br />number of weeks (not including City review tirne) of the consultant's activities to <br />complete the professional services up to readiness to bid.
