PROPOSA.L St1MTvlARy Serafin Golf Course Design, Inc. along with Irrigation Designs, Inc. and Motter 8z Mea.dows Architects is pleased to submit this proposal ta the City of North Olmsted for the Springvale Golf Course Renovations. It is our understanding that this project will proceed on the following schedule: Prelimuiary Design: April - May 2001 Final Design/Construction Documents: June 2001 Bidding July 2001 Start Construction July - Augua.st 2001 The above mentioned design team will initiate the project by meeting with the City of North Olmsted representatives to determine the parameters and overall objectives of the-project and the design concepts to be applied. A review of the golf course, existing irrigation system and maintenance building area will then be com.pleted. Based upon the inforrnation gathered, the design team wi11 then prepare a Preliinitiary Master Plan. A preliminary gol£ course renovation plan, irrigacion renovations, preluiunaiy maintenance building and pump house designs, preliminary wojk sequence and schedu.le, and a preliminary cost estimate will be included with the Preliminary Master Plan. The objective of the overall renovations, as it is with all our designs, is to incorporate the golf course onto the exiscing features of the site. By blending the golf cou.rse with the existing characteristics of the land we will be able to keep construction costs down and design a rnore natural, and visually pleasing golf course. Upon approval of the Preliminary Design by the City of North Olmsted representatives, the design team will prepare Construction I7ocuments. Detailed plans of all golf course renovations, an irrigation final plan, maintenance building and pump house final plans; and specifications for bidding will be included with the Construction Documents. An irnerim set of Construction Documents and Specifications will be subnnitted to the City of North Olmsted for review before bidding. Upon acceptance of a successful bidder the design team will then oversee a71 renovations to insure the progress and qualitq of work being done. The total design fee for Springvale Golf Course Renovations, irrigation renovations, ma?ntenance building and pump house designs, and construction observation for the entire project is $88,640.00 including estimated expenses as outlined in the proposal. This design team is dedicated, knowledgeable, and experienced. This design team presently has a workload that will allow them to take on this project and give it their fullest attention.
