CONTRACT OF EMPLOYMENT
<br />TNIS CONTRACT is made on the d,??day of , 2001, at the City of
<br />North Olinsted, County of Cuyahoga, State of Ohio, between tlie City of North Olmsted, 5200
<br />Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070 [liereiuafter, "Employer"], and Jerry Ludvik,
<br />35265C Nortli Turtle Trail, Willoughby, Ohio 40940, SS4273-38-5183 [hereinafter,
<br />"Employee"].
<br />WHEREAS, Empioyee is willing to be employed by Employer, aiid Employer is willing to
<br />employ Employee, on the tei-ins, coveuailts, aiid conditions set forth in this Contract; aiid
<br />WHEREAS, Einployer, by Ordinance No. 2001-?, duly adopted on,z? , 2001,
<br />authorized tlie Mayor to enter iuto tlus Contract with the Einployee;
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, In consideration of the mutual covenants aiid promises of the
<br />parties, Employer and Employee covenaut aiid agree as follows:
<br />Section 1
<br />Nature of and Place of Employment
<br />Employer does hire aiid employ Einployee as a golf consultant at Springvale Golf Course,
<br />and Employee does accept aiid agree to such hiring and employ?nent. Subject to the supervision
<br />aiid pursuant to the orders, advice, aiid directions of Employer, Einployee shall provide golf
<br />programs aiid instruction affiliated with the PGA aiid professional golf, to include adult men's and
<br />women's, youth, aiid group and piivate lessons throughout the golf season, special coordination
<br />of lessons for special events, instruction on managemevt of play for starters and rangers, and shall
<br />perform such other duties as are customarily perfoi-ined by one holding such position in otller
<br />similar businesses or enteiprises as that engaged in by employer, and shall also additionally render
<br />such other and unrelated seivices aiid duties as may be assigued to Employee from time to time by
<br />Employer. Range balls for lessons will be iucluded.
<br />Section II
<br />Manner of Pei-foi-inavice of Einployee's Duties
<br />Employee agrees to perform, at all tiines faithfizlly, industriously, and to tlie best of his
<br />ability, experience, aiid talent, all of the duties that may be required of and from liim pLtrsuant to
<br />the express aiid implicit tei-ins of this Contract, to the reasonable satisfaction of Employer. Such
<br />duties sliall be rendered at North Olmsted City Schools, North Olmsted City Hall, North Olmsted
<br />Police Headquarters, aiid at sucli other place or places as Employer shall in good faith require or
<br />as tlie interests, ileeds, business, and opportunities of Employer shall require or make advisable.
