Section III <br />Duration of Emplo}inent <br />The tei7n of this Contract shall be for a pei7od of nine months, coinmencing on April 1, <br />2001, aud tenninating on December 3 l, 2001, subject, however, to prior termination as provided <br />below. <br />Section IV <br />Payment and Reimbursement <br />Employer shall pay Einployee and Employee agrees to accept from Employer, in full <br />payment for Employee's services under this Contract, compensation in the amount of $4,250.00, <br />payable in one lump sum ou December 31, 2001. <br />In addition, Einployer agrees that it will reiinburse Einployee for aiiy aiid all necessary, <br />customary, aiid usual expenses incurred by hiin while traveling for and on behalf of the Employer <br />pursuant to Employer's directions. As part of the compensation package, range balis will be <br />provided for those patrons paying for golf instruction. <br />Section V <br />Optiou to Tei7ninate Contract for Pei-inanent <br />Disability of Employee <br />Notwithstandiug anything in this agreement to the contrary, employer has the option to <br />terrninate this agreement in the event that during its teim employee sliall become pennanently disabled <br />as the tenn permanently disabled is defined below. Such option shall be exercised by employer giving <br />notice to einployee by iā¢egistered inail, addressed to him iv care of employer at North Olmsted City <br />Hall, or at sucli other address as employee shall designate in writing, of its intention to teiminate this <br />agreement on the last day of the montli during whicli such notice is mailed, and on the giving of such <br />notice this agreement and the tenn of this agreemeiit come to an end on the last day of the moiith in <br />which the uotice is mailed, with the same force and effect as if that day were oiiginally set forth as the <br />termination date. For the puiposes of this agreement, employee sliall be deemed to have become <br />permanently disabled if, duriug the tenn of this agreement, because of ill healtli, physical or inental <br />disability, or for other causes beyond his control, he shall liave been contuiuously wiable or uvwilling or <br />have failed to perform ]lis duties wider this contract for twenty consecutive days, or if, during the ten-n <br />ofthis agreement, he shall liave been unable or wiwilliug or have failed to peifonn liis duties fot- a total <br />period of foirty days, either consecutive or not. <br />Section V I <br />Coimnitments Binding on Employer Only <br />on Written Consent <br />4
