:::arol ~n Kasi~;r
t)eceY~~~t~cr L 1987
E'age
I estimate that we can perform the services related to the City's regulations of wireless
telecommunication facilities for an amount not to exceed $4,000, plus expenses, which should be
minimal. (These expenses could include long distance telephone calls, facsimile charges, copying
costs, special mailings, computer assisted research charges, and mileage for special trips.) We will
bill the City at our normal governmental rate for such services -- i.e., $150.00 per hour for my time
and $130.00 per hour for the time of any associate of the firm. Our minimum billing increment is
one-tenth of an hour. Depending upon _he number of meetings which I will be asked to attend, the
total fee amount should be less than the $4,000 estimate.
To the extent the City wishes to_use our services for advice related to individual applications
for wireless telecommunication facilities and leases for such facilities on government property, we
will bill the City at the above hourly rates. These additional services may exceed the $4,000
estimate and, if so, may need to be handled on a case-by-case basis. Many times we have been
successful in having our professional fees reimbursed to the City by the companies pursuing a lease
on government property. The legislation we will draft will also have fairly lazge application
fee/deposit provisions to be paid by applicants to defray the professional costs for review of such
applications.
Thank you for the opportunity to present this proposal to you. If you have any questions,
please do not hesitate to contact me.
i ~.
Sincerely,
R. Todd Hunt, Parer
RTH:peg
cc: James M.
