~, <br />C1TY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />Ordinance 97- 114 <br />BY: ED BOYLE <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION TWO OF ORDINANCE <br />NUMBER 96-56, WHICH ESTABLISHES RATES OF COMPENSATION <br />FOR VARIOUS ADMINISTRATION AND LEGISLATIVE PERSONNEL AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council, at the request of the Director of Law, to <br />establish new pay ranges for the position of City Law Clerk in order to attract and retain quality <br />law school students. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO. <br />SECTION 1: That Section 2 of Ordinance Number 96-56, which presently reads as <br />follows: <br />"SECTION 2: That the following salary ranges are hereby established for employees of <br />the Department of Law. The salaries specified in this section shall be determined by the Director <br />of Law as appropriate. <br />FROM ~S2 <br />~9~ 1996 1997 <br />A. Director of Law 60,000 62,700 65,521 68,470 Annually <br />B. Assistant Director of 20,000 28,422 29,417 30,299 Annually <br />Law (Civil) <br />C. Assistant Director of 41,035 53,332 55,198 56,854 Annually <br />Law (Prosecutor) <br />D. Assistant Prosecutor 3,000 7,315 7,571 7,798 Annually <br />E. Law Clerk 5.25 9.00 9.32 9.59 Per Hour <br />F.
